Got this to help when travelling as a solo female. Has worked well so far and provides a sense of safety

I can tell that this is a very good device. It’s well made and straightforward to use. I also love the drawstring pink pouch and the spare silicone guards. However personally I’m disappointed right now because it unfortunately doesn’t work on the Travelodge Hotel door I’m staying at in London UK. This is a shame as the area is sketchy and the manager who checked me in displayed some unprofessional behaviour that has left me feeling uneasy. My room also happens to be at the end of a long corridor on the top floor 😬

My door/standard doors in the UK are way thicker than items length so cannot use it unfortunately.

If you want to keep lock pickers out of your room while you are in it, this little gadget is wonderful. It takes a bit of practice to get it right, but it's easy enough once you have mastered it. Sleep secure!

So handy and can take it anywhere - feels really secure when installed. Did not do any damage to my door frame either. Simple place, spin on the butterfly nut. Great idea!
