The Enerpac P-77 two-speed, steel hydraulic hand pump is for lifting, bolting, or applying pressure in intermittent and non-repetitive construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications. The hand pump can advance and retract a single-acting cylinder or power a hydraulic tool (sold separately) and can hold a load. It has an internal pressure valve that helps protect the pump from overload. This two-speed pump is for applications where there is little or no load initially, but where increased force is needed when the load is applied. When no load is present, the pump operates in the first stage, which has a faster flow rate. When the pump senses a load, it switches to the second stage, which requires fewer handle strokes and slows the flow rate to produce more pressure and move the load. The all-steel construction makes this pump more durable than lightweight hydraulic hand pumps and the chrome-plated plunger and wiper system help resist corrosion.
